Q: Can I reserve a property from a day other than the specified changeover day?

No. As these properties can be rented for a minimum of one week, the reservation must be made from the specified changeover date. Exceptions may apply in low season – please contact us with enquiries for out of season short breaks.

Q: Can I rent a property for less than a week at a time?

It depends on the property. All our cottages can be rented for a minimum of one week, although exceptions may apply at certain times. Please contact us to enquire about out of season short breaks. All our B&B accommodation can be booked for a minimum of two nights. Hotels and Inns can be booked for any number of nights.

Q: Can I pay for my booking online?

No. The online system will reserve the accommodation for you, whilst one of our team confirms your booking. They will then contact you to confirm and take payment.

Q: Do I need to bring linen and/or towels?

This will be specified on the property description page. Some cottages require you to bring your own linen and/or towels, this is not applicable to B&B or hotel properties.

Q: How do I get the keys for the property?

For cottage bookings, details of where to obtain the keys will be provided in your booking confirmation.

Q: What happens if I need to cancel my reservation?

Cancellation policies vary depending on the property type. If for any reason you need to cancel a booking, please refer to our cancellation policy for details. 

Q: Do you have dog friendly properties?

Yes! Currently the Beach Suites at South Sands, the South Sands Hotel and several of our cottages welcome well behaved dogs. Please check individual property descriptions to find out where dogs are allowed.

Q: Can I book any of your restaurant listings online?

Not currently. However we do provide links to each restaurant’s website, many of which have online reservation systems.

Yes – we will send you special offers and exclusive member deals from our wide range of restaurants, shops and activity providers.
