Not your ordinary fish and chip shop, the RockFish Seafood & Chips seats 70 people and serve the freshest fish bought straight from the fish markets daily. Served up in the restaurant in stylish take away boxes with chips, there will be a choice of the market’s fish available as well as specials like cracked Devon crab to try out. A good range of wines to keep the grown up members of the party happy and plenty of sauces - mayonnaise, tomato sauce, garlic mayo, tartare sauce – to enjoy with the fish, followed up with great ice creams and sundaes. A great family seafood restaurant.
Our menu includes a wide range of seafood specialties such as cured herring, fresh South Devon crab, including our famous crab roll, scallops and oysters. We serve fish in breadcrumbs (some fish such as sole are better served this way) as well as in batter – our cod and haddock is from the Norwegian seas and is MSC accredited. We have scallops, fresh langoustine tails and a small section of grilled fish such as local mackerel, gurnard and bass, which changes daily. As we are dealing with a fresh wild product some items on our menu may be unavailable or in short supply because of the weather or the demands on the morning's markets, it doesn't happen too often. We also regularly change the menu to reflect the seasons.
We have a fantastic wine list and you can have just a single glass of wine or even a cup of tea or a cocktail and a piece of bread to go with your cod & chips!
